- In 2021 the engine has been completely overhauled as well as its peripherals (turbo, injectors, pumps, alternator, batteries)
and replacement in various auxiliary machines of the boat(workers, water pumps, etc.)all with new ones. Varnishes became everything from the beginning both internally and externally
List of works November & December 2023
1.Scratching, cleaning, stuccoing where needed with epoxy putty and primer, the boat externally with FLAG BLUE TIS AWL GRIP epoxy paint…… 3 coats passed! it will be required again after many years!! Almost 5.000 euro spent.
2. Cleaning in wet areas, checking all the wood, passing epoxy primers, and special antifouling red color of the international company, 4 layers. It will be required again after two years.
3. The wood carvings were removed on the back with the boat’s name were preserved, and they went to a special oven and were covered with special epoxy varnishes.
4.All the brass objects were removed, everything that was around and on the deck of the boat came out and were preserved and put on special epoxy varnishes in an oven.
5. Both ladders, swimming ladder and the passerella were disassembled and passed with special epoxy varnishes in ovens.
6. All anodes were changed.
7. The anchor with the chain went to a private foundry and were galvanized and marked every 25 meters and an additional 25 meters of new chain was installed so the total length reached 105 meters. The electric anchor winch became new all the interior parts were changes changed with new spare parts.
8. Externally, all the wooden surfaces were cleaned and special varnishes of the International Skoyner company were applied.
9. Maintenance of the shaft as required every 4 years. Bushing, shaft bearing and mudguard were changed.
10. Four new batteries.
11. All the groundings were checked from an Electrician, repaired where necessary and a general check was made.
12. Check and change of water valves.
13. Maintenance of teak deck.
14. A new prostate water pump was installed.
15. 2 new water collection containers for the showers were installed.
16. A new marine inox water heater was installed.
17. Maintenance of hydraulic wheel.
18. General check and annual maintenance, service of the engine.
